Sign ASAP, let raid leaders/GM/officers know if you can't make it. Bring flasks and food, be alert and eat/drink before or after a raid, not during it. Make sure to go to the WC before a raid, and as little as possible in a raid, (ofcourse only with the raid leaders permission).


-What is your attitude towards 'l00t'?:

Loot is lovely, who doesn't love it?

Loot I feel should be fairly distributed, and if people have priority, then thats fine. At the end of the day, a piece of loot i may not get, will help the guilds overall progress, and after all, we are a team.

How did you hear about Fatal?

I was searching forums for a new and exciting guild, and saw you were recruiting DK's, and thought I'd give it a shot.


What are you looking for when joining a new guild like Fatal?

I'm looking for experienced players, with friendly and mature attitudes, a more casual approach to WoW (after all, it's a game), whom still want to progress well, and have passion for new and upcoming content.

Reason for leaving the most recent guild you were a member of:

Without being nasty about previous leaders (as i left on good terms), they seemed to be a little incompetent with leading a raid, and I don't feel I am progressing through real content with them. Also, I had signed up for several raids, making sure i had the evening off, then being told that they didnt need me as they couldn't get someone else to lead a 2nd or 3rd raid group.

-Anything else you would like to add to your application regarding yourself and World of Warcraft? This could include your history playing WoW, notable guilds, experiences you've had, playing times, favourite things, dislikes?

I have been playing wow since Vanilla, played a good amount at 60 (honor farming for Grand Marshal gear).

Took a long break, and never reached 70, then came back about a year ago, with my DK and decided i wanted to get back into the raiding scene, was looking for a decent guild on the forums, found you, and it ticked all my boxes, i only hope i tick all of yours.

-Anything else you would like to add to your application regarding yourself? This could include any other personal information like hobbies, interests, work. Or you may want to write about your personality and likes/dislikes:

I am a very loyal person, get on well with most people, and if i don't i try my hardest too. I know to be tolerable of newer players and understand their circumstances.

I help people if they need it, and love raiding and PvP.

Oh, and for hobbies, i guess you can say i like my food, after all - i'm a trainee chef IRL.

I tried to put http://be.imba.hu link to help officers ,but as you said it brought some hunter,Which is really odd.

Changing to Epic gems can make a lot of difference in your dps.

This is a very important one. Just like our official recruitment post states, we're fed up with players joining then starting the "AFK's" weeks after. Your age suggests your at college maybe? Things like homework, exams etc are a favorite excuse, along with "oh I just started a new job".
Could you give us an answer to this one thank you. If you have exams coming up and you need time to revise etc then say so, and if your looking for a job and you don't know the working hours yet....then also say so please.
If you know nothing will change and Mon & Wed are free for the unseeable future then thats great....but say so rather than leaving this part blank thanks

We excuse birthdays, special occasions etc...and the 'odd' film if its not habit. (the way we see it...watch the film on a different day...there are 5 to choose from ).
We presume your answer means you won't be making a habit of missing Mon or Wed?

Well actually most of us here kind of think its ok....lets say we look at it as the 'raid' and the thrill of the 'kill' is the cake that gives us most enjoyment. The loot is merely a bit of icing

Your right in what you say though, loot that does not go to you or other players will go to someone who could benefit more. Thats something we promote here, people passing if they see it will benefit someone else in our raid squad more than yourself.

eg. If someone here using a 252 weapon and someone using a 213 weapon....then its going to be better for our squad if the 213 players receives it. We don't force people to pass, but we encourage it.

Its this curtiousy and our team bond that means loot is never a point of drama and means we are quite comfortable using a loot council / roll method.

As I've often said, ultimately we need to progress as a team.... The more an item increase our overall strength....the quicker we all get to see new encounters and receive better loot

We are looking for a Frost DK at the moment as we haven't got an enhancement Shaman for 'windfury totem'.

What DPS do you do in Unholy?
What DPS can you achieve in Frost?

In simple terms, does being a Frost DK mean you'll still perform well (or won't perform well) and will it bother you?

Lastly, is there a reason you aren't using epic gems? Do you not think that might be why your ex-guild missed you from raids?

- I am currently looking for a job atm, but i very much doubt that it will mean mondays and wednesdays will be unavailable for me, as I will have college in the daytime, then i shall be off in the evening.

- Yes, well you obviously agree with what i was trying to say, better an upgrade for a lower geared person which will overall help the guild more, than just to make an individual have better gear

- I prefered being a frost dps in all honesty, but i only have 2 iLvl 232 weapons for that, when Bryn'troll dropped, I got it and so i of course had to switch back to Unholy. If there ever was an opportunity to go back to frost, i would grab it with both hands.

In my current state i would lose about 1.5k-2k dps as frost (because of the weapons), but if i had equivalent to bryntroll, i could keep up, possibly maybe do more single target than unholy.

- I am not using epic gems in all sockets as i worked out that it would only give me a total of +48 strength for the cost of around 1.5k gold, i know this sounds pretty noobish, but as i have now started to get some "best in slot gear" i have spent the extra cash on them. In short, i don't see the point of spending 140-280g per item if i am going to upgrade in next week.

As i start to acquire better gear, i shall upgrade to epic gems.

Well its good to see you agree with our principles on loot etc and its also great that you have no issue with being Frost (the fact you used to play Frost DPS and enjoy it more is an added bonus).

We 'may' have a spot to trial you tonight presuming you aren't locked to ICC25? and the other Officers also agree to a raid trial

After a raid trial (and assuming all goes well) we invite for a guild trial which lasts 2 weeks OR 4no. 25-man raids.
