Raid Experience

This is only for the character you are applying with and only completed at the appropriate level that matches the instance level, ie. Black Wing Lair @ 60 / Black Temple @ 70 / Naxx @ 60 or 80 etc.

Vanilla WoW 1.0+ : None, did not play until release of TBC

The Burning Crusade 2.0+ : Prior to the 'lol' patch, i cleared all upto felmyst in sunwell plateau. Post 'lol' patch @ lvl 70, Cleared all inc Kil'Jeaden.

Wrath of the Lich King 3.0+ :
Naxx 10 : Cleared.
Naxx 25 : Cleared.
Obsidian Sanctum 10 : Cleared with 3 drakes up.
Obsidian Sanctum 25 : Cleared with 3 drakes up.
Malygos 10 : Cleared
Malygos 25 : Cleared

Ulduar 10 man : Cleared with all hard modes + "He feeds on your tears".
Ulduar 25 man : Cleared, most hard modes, only missing 1 light in darkness.

TotGC 25 Heroic : 4/5
TotGC 10 Heroic : Cleared with Insanity acheivement.

ICC 10 Man : 12/12 Normal. 11/12 Heroic, Glory of Icecrown Raider completed May 2010.
ICC 25 Man : 11/12 Normal. 3/12 Heroic.

My guild experience will explain why the poor progress in ICC 25. It didnt start that way, honest

No alts.

-What is your attitude towards raiding? This includes signing up, preparation and during a raid:
I am a progressing raider.
I spent most of my time in a strict raiding guild, I always attend on time, with flasks and foods, no exceptions.
I do beleive when raiding, 70% of a sucessful raid is down to preperation, if you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.


-What is your attitude towards 'l00t'?:
Couldnt give a monkeys for it. If it comes, it comes.
All I can say is i do plan my upgrades, i use landsouls spread sheet in an effort to simulate what my toon can put out.
I dont roll on items that i dont need or offer no upgrade.
All my gear is enchanted and gemmed to the max as standard policy.
I endeavour to balance my gear accordingly.

Lets look at some of the stats i have, and what plans i have for the continued development of my toon.
At this time, the gear is mostly 264 level with one 258 also.
The Armor Penetration is close to 100%.
The hit rating is 0.03 below the cap. I aim for 5% HR and get the remaining 3 from precision.
I could go for 4, but there is no gaurentee i'l get a dranei in my group.
The expertise i have is lower then i would like, it sits at 20. To overcome this problem i am using rhino wormsteaks (+40 Exp)
when raiding.

I am looking to change some of my gear around, but after careful consideration
i can only do this when i have replaced my neck item.
The options are BQL 25 neck OR Putricide 10 man HC neck.
Both these options give me more expertise and push my numbers closer to my targets.
The loss of Hit rating from replacing my neck will come from a replacement weapon (which i have in my inventory).

I've also attained 3 shadowfrost shards for my trouble so far....
but i dont expect to be able to complete the quest.

As i mentioned earlier in this application, i do have a tank off spec.
The gear level is mostly 264 items and the numbers on my tank are pretty good too.
48K+ HP unbuffed.
Hit capped
Exp close to cap (close enough).
Plenty of armor, parry and dodge.
As with the main spec, all gemmed and enchanted to the max, no exceptions.

Not much to say here.
I sign up to pretty much all planned raids. If i sign, i am on time. If i am for some reason not able to attend, i make a point of
letting ppl know ASAP (but this is exceptionally rare).
I expect a bit of disruption soon as i am moving house. But i am a planner. When i move house, Internet will be ready to use.

-Are you available to extend past our 12am raid time if an important boss be close to being killed or we are near a full clear of an instance?:
Yes, pretty flexible, especially if an iminent kill is on the table.

Class Improvements

Do you read up about your class for improvements? For eg. which websites would you use?
Using tankspot for the best part. It pretty much covers everything i could ever need.
I will readup also on elitistjerks.
Using Landsouls spread sheet to plan my gear/gems and such.
I do have a 'Always from for Improvement' attitude, i always try to surpass my best.

For raid preperation and boss tactics.
I'm using stratfu, bosskillers, worldofraids, wowwiki, tankspot for the finer details.
Videos are nice too, but they dont always tell you everything one needs to know about a fight.

You and Fatal

How did you hear about Fatal?
I've been looking for a guild for a few days, I learned of Fatal from the silvermoon forums.
What got my interest are the raid hours, perfect for me.


What are you looking for when joining a new guild like Fatal?
Regular raids in a guild environment. I hope to see a guild planning raids vis forums,
using the forums to analyse raids and learn from them and share thoughts.

Guild History

Previous Guilds:
<Blood and Tears> This was a horde guild on the ghostlands server. The website is still up and running. Www.wow-bat.com
I joined this guild in july 2008 as a tank. Here I was part of a team that cleared TBC content.
I stayed in this guild upto Febrary 2010 at the time the guild disbanded.
My time in the guild, i served principly as the main tank. In November 2009, I was promoted to officer and raid leader.
I was proud to be a part of this guild, I was also proud of the progress and acheivements we completed.
Highlights include, killing Kil'Jeaden (i lost my voice) and bagging a top 1000 world wide rank kill on Professor Putricide upon its release.
Upon disbanding, we acheived a rank of 1200 world wide.
There was no single reason that led to the disband, there were a number of contributing factors.

<EAS>
February 2010. I joined after <Blood and Tears> disbanded. Again performing Main Tank role.
This guild was a 10 man guild, after a week i was promoted to officer.
We set out to complete 'Glory of Icecrown Raider' and we acheived that in May 2010.
Then summer came, as did the world cup and this decimated our rosta. So we merged the guild into an existing one.
Alas the merge really didnt meet my expectations. Combined with the fact Horde really did die on ghostlands, i felt
it was time to do something a bit unusual for me, and that was to Faction change and come to the silvermoon realm.

<Crisis>
Joined a month ago, simply because the GM was looking for people on the trade channel.
I spoke to him, was impressed with the way he presented himself and his guild. So I decided to give it a go.
My role with <Crisis> was Fury Warrior.
We raided 25 mans for a month, but always struggling to assemble a team. Often having to pug.
After 4 weeks, the officers decided to take a different approach and go to just 10 man raids.
Hence here i am.


Reason for leaving the most recent guild you were a member of:
The guild retired from 25 man raiding.

I think i've covered pretty much all this in the previous sections.
I've mentioned i dont raid Fridays. This isnt necessarily true, but more often than not, i am down the pub after work on fridays.

I work full time, i am an Avitation Engineering consultant.
I sometimes get a call to go somewhere odd in the world, albeit these days i am mostly in the UK.
I'm also into boating, got my own little river cruiser which is great in summers (if the weather is nice).
Thats about it....

I tried AVRE, which was like raiding with stabilizers. Thats been blocked now.
I think 'plagued' is also blocked now.

Finally, I do use Ventrillo and do have a working mic. I am not shy to talk, but know when to not clutter vent chat.
