Raid Experience

This is only for the character you are applying with and only completed at the appropriate level that matches the instance level, ie. Black Wing Lair @ 60 / Black Temple @ 70 / Naxx @ 60 or 80 etc.

Vanilla WoW 1.0+ : Shaman's weren't about for the Alliance in vanilla... howevere I did do all content using Hunter / Warlock

The Burning Crusade 2.0+ : Once leveled, I did Kara, Gruul's Lair, Mount Hyjal, SSC, Black Temple and half of Tempest Keep.... Unfortunately I have never stepped foot in Sunwell Plateau... maybe one day

Wrath of the Lich King 3.0+ : Ulduar 10 (not YS or Algalon ) / Naxx10 / Ony10 / OS10 (1 Drake up) / VOA / TOTC10 / Malygos
(Reason for lack of 25man experience is that I raided with a small guild on Bronze dragon flight, they struggled to form 25man groups, it is also worth mentioning I lead the raids for that guild in WOTLK,). However, I have pugged various 25man instances

-Is there any other raid experience on alt characters you think is worth noting? (Again, only list raid experience completed at the appropriate level which matches the instance level): Iso is my only lvl 80 character... but as mentioned raided vanilla on a lock and hunter

-What is your attitude towards raiding? This includes signing up, preparation and during a raid:
Knowing how hard it can be to form raids and get people there, I would like to think I respect the raid leaders wishes to sign up early for them to be able to pick a suitable team and be ready when the time to raid comes. I usually carry buff food... if not fish feasts and flasks (Frost Wyrm and Pure Mojo). Again knowing from a raid leading perspective you want to keep the raid flowing so keeping AFK downtime to a minimum is something I strive for and will go AFK during designated break time (if any).

-What is your attitude towards 'l00t'?:
Winning upgrading loot is always great, but I believe it's what helps progression and if there is someone that would make better use of it over myself then so be it. It's for the benefit of the guild and raid in the end.

Class Improvements

Do you read up about your class for improvements? For eg. which websites would you use?
I tend to trawl the eu shaman forums, can't say I spend excessive time reading about classes etc. I think I know my class well enough by playing it and what works for me. Again from raid leading I over time gained the benefits of other classes etc and their usability in raids, although I'm not an expert in any particular class I have an overall general knowledge of each class and their abilities.

You and Fatal

How did you hear about Fatal?

I used to raid with Fatal in TBC times I sadly moved to Bronze dragonflight with my Shaman to play with irl friends there, they have since left to play horde somewhere else. I do raid lead for a guild named Hysteria on BDF (apperently in the top10 10man raiding guilds on the realm). Unfortunately recent events have caused a rift in the guild and I don't wish to be part of it, the reason I'm moving back to Silvermoon (hopefully). I would hope many people would recognise me, I know Guyver will and I've already spoken to a few people when checking up on my lock recently.


What are you looking for when joining a new guild like Fatal?
To allow me to see the content I wasn't able to in my previous guild... althought I technically have seen it, I want to see it in a 25man context and hopefully hard modes, also to be in a raiding position for the upcoming Icecrown dungeons / raids. Also to play with old guildies / friends again.

Guild History

Previous Guilds: Hysteria (Bronze Dragonflight), Fatal (Silvermoon), struggling to think of any before that (bad memory :/ )

Reason for leaving the most recent guild you were a member of: Hysteria... as mentioned above, rift in the guild has now caused it to destablise and raiding is looking to be a no go for that particular guild. I wish to be somewhere I know people are competent in raiding since I have experience with them and hopefully they'll know I'm a good player also.

I play football tuesday and wednesday nights therefore not being able to raid those nights... althought I can be on standby once I return home (which would be about 8.45 / 9pm). I very much like wow . I like to drink as I'm sure most others do of a weekend and suffer for it the morning after. I work for a local authority as a senior systems developer.

Pending the acceptance of this application I will begin process of moving my character to this realm from Bronze Dragonflight.

Woot! hey Baldy

Hey mate, long time no see. Wednesday is one of our two official raid days; is there any way at all you could make it any earlier?

Hey Paron, good to hear from you.

Unfortunately, Wednesday was one of my own main raiding days up until last week when I decided to join a 5-a-side team. We play every Wednesday from half 7 to half 8.

I'd like to say I can make it every Wednesday on time, but being honest I can't promise that. As I mentioned in the application I am willing to act as a standby healer / DPS for that day when I do return home.

May I ask what sort of raiding schedule you have? You seem to do really well in just 2 days a week

EDIT: Thinking about it, I could maybe work out a rotation (every other week), so's that I play football 1 week, raid the other. I would very much prefer the standby option though.

Our two main raids are on Monday and Wednesday. Other days might have unofficial 10man raids.

Sorry about the delay mate. We've now had time to discuss your situation properly.
The best we can offer you, should you pass your trial, is member status. Our raiders get priority for a spot and you will be invited to join if we are short of numbers.
I'm sure you can understand that we have to give that priority to those that can turn up for both our official raids.
